The latest version of the Mitsubishi L200 2023 is in many ways similar to its predecessor.
The reason is that all the modernizations carried out in the recent past were targeted.
In fact, only the configurations have changed now, while the characteristics of the car remained the same, since it retained the 2.4-liter turbodiesel, presented in two versions, and all-wheel drive.
Officially, at least 4,179,000 rubles are asked for the Japanese model, although dealers have a higher price.
The standard equipment offers a minimum set of options, while, as in the top version, systems appear that increase both overall safety and comfort.
The pickup truck presented now in Russia, as before, is imported from Thailand. At the same time, prices for it may increase over time, since the Japanese company has ceased to officially supply the car to our country.
The lack of a new body in the 2023 Mitsubishi L200 can be explained by the fact that the car will undergo a deep modernization in the next few months.
Recently published photos show that the Japanese manufacturer will radically change the appearance of the pickup truck. However, it is expected that the current configurations and prices of the L200 will not be seriously adjusted.
But the same cannot be said about the technical characteristics, since the Japanese model should receive a hybrid installation.
The official price for the Japanese model reaches 5,219,000 rubles.
As noted above, visually, the 2023 Mitsubishi L200 is no different from its predecessor.
The car is distinguished by a rather smooth body with a “brutal” front end, where the manufacturer retained the X-shaped metal strips that wrap around a relatively narrow radiator grille with wide strips.
On the sides of it are thin LED headlights, under which there are blocks with additional optics. The pickup is equipped with strong front and rear bumpers.
The interior of the Japanese model has a simple, but at the same time functional design. The interior space is finished with wear-resistant plastic, which, according to reviews, begins to creak over time.
The almost vertical center console includes a small touchscreen monitor, climate control (air conditioning) and several additional physical buttons.
Next to the gearshift lever, a selector is provided to select the operating modes of the all-wheel drive. The advantage of the Japanese model is a spacious cabin that provides a comfortable fit for three adult passengers.

The refusal of the Japanese company to correct the technical part of the L200 is largely due to the fact that the current turbodiesels stand out against the background of their counterparts in high performance and reliability, as well as good efficiency.
Therefore, by default, the Japanese model is now equipped with a 2.4-liter turbocharged engine that produces up to 154 hp. and 300 N * m. Together with him go to the choice of «mechanics» or «automatic» for 6 speeds.
The starting motor is combined with proprietary all-wheel drive, which is complemented by electronic control and a mechanically locking rear differential.
A pickup truck in this version consumes an average of 7.1 liters of fuel. Fuel consumption rises to 7.5 liters with a more powerful turbodiesel of the same volume.
Its maximum return reaches 181 hp, and the traction moment is 430 N * m. This unit is complemented only by a 6-speed «automatic» and other all-wheel drive.
The Japanese 5225mm pickup truck has a wheelbase of 3000mm. The width of the car is 1815 mm, the height is 1795 mm.
Despite the spacious cabin, the Japanese model is equipped with a large cargo platform. Its dimensions reach 1520x1470x475 mm.
The car is based on a front independent suspension on double wishbones and a rear dependent design with springs.
