New Polestar 3 2023.
Polestar 3 2023 is a new crossover in the style of Volvo XC90. Prices for the model were announced three months before the official debut.
The range of the Swedish-Chinese company Polestar already has several worthy electric cars, and at the beginning of the year brand representatives promised to present at least three more models until 2025.
One of them is a fully electric Polestar 3, which has already been shown on teasers before.
Now the brand decided to announce prices for Polestar 3 2023 model year, despite the fact that the debut will take place only in autumn.
The Polestar 3 will have a 111 kWh lithium-ion battery pack between the axles, powering two electric motors (one on each axle).
The total capacity of the unit is 490 hp and 840 N*m of torque. According to preliminary data it will allow the crossover to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5 seconds, while its top speed is at 210 km/h.
The claimed range on a single charge is 610 km. There will be more performance versions, such as 517 hp and 910 N*m of torque.
Polestar will offer its «troika» in Europe in two configurations, where the base price is 92,900 euros (5.3 million rubles), while the more expensive version is priced at 99,500 euros (5.7 million rubles).
Such a price may already indicate that the crossover will receive outstanding standard equipment, among which we can mention 21-inch alloy wheels, fully LED lighting, 3-zone climate control, all-around cameras, cruise control with speed limiter and others.
In the cabin of the car in the basic version will be a 14.5-inch touchscreen multimedia system, USB ports, heated front seats, but the servo is only available for the driver’s seat, armrests on both rows of seats, and a system of LED ambient lighting.
The new Polestar 3 will be assembled in the United States, at a plant in Charleston, South Carolina. North America promises to be a major market for the model.
It is scheduled to debut in October, but there is no word yet on a sales launch date.
