Nissan Safari Rally Z Tribute 2023. The rally-prepared Nissan Z will be shown at the SEMA show.
A modified version of the Nissan Z sports coupe will be presented at the upcoming SEMA tuning auto show.
We are talking about a car prepared for participation in rally racing, which is a copy of the original Datsun 240Z rally car.
The Datsun 240Z won the East African Safari Rally in 1971 and 1973.
The brand is paying tribute to these victories by creating a modern Nissan Z with styling inspired by the classic race car for SEMA 2023. A replica of the original will also be on hand at the event.
Tommy Pike Customs has created the Safari Rally Z Tribute, inspired by the 1971 East African Rally winner Safari.
It has a dark red body and a black hood. At the front, there is additional lighting on the lower bumper, hood and base of the A-pillars. A small tubular guard and skid plate are attached to the nose.
Inside, the Safari Rally Z Tribute features Recaro Pole Position seats and a four-point harness bar.
The passenger side dashboard features a map of the East African Safari Rally circuit and a retro chronometer.
This Z features a custom KW Safari suspension that increases ground clearance by 2.0 inches.
The upper control arms, outer tie rod ends, front and rear end links, rear mid links and rear traction arms are all adjustable to allow someone to fine-tune the ride quality based on conditions.
The Prototype Nismo Safari wheels are 17 inches in diameter and 7.5 inches wide. Surrounding them are a set of massive Yokohama Geolandar M/T G003 tires.
This car gets an AMS tune that boosts the 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine’s output above 400 horsepower, although Nissan doesn’t specify the exact output over stock.
A host of Nismo parts are also installed, including a dual-plate clutch, flywheel, heat exchanger, coolant reservoir, cold air intake, carbon fiber engine cover and exhaust exhaust.
