The tuning studio Manhart Performance expands its business in the Middle East and on this occasion for the first time pimped the Nissan Patrol Nismo, exclusive to this region.

Visual tuning was not the only thing, to the standard 5.6-liter V8 German experts bolted in a large supercharger drive.

Current Nissan Patrol generation Y62 has been produced since 2010, and the sports version Nismo appeared in 2015 — it was developed specifically for the countries of the Middle East, outside of this region Patrol Nismo has never come out.

The last factory cosmetic update the sports SUV received this spring, it affected mainly the interior, which redesigned the center console and installed a new multimedia system with a 12.3-inch screen on top of it.

Atelier Manhart took to work just the most recent variant of the Patrol Nismo, the new project was named Manhart PT 650.

Recall that as standard Patrol Nismo has spectacular aerodynamic dodger, reduced by 15 mm to 260 mm ground clearance, sports suspension with Bilstein shock absorbers and heat-resistant brakes, and under the hood is placed slightly forced 5.6-liter petrol V8 (428 hp, 560 Nm) paired with a seven-speed hydromechanical «automatic».

The Manhart has found the stock Patrol Nismo dodger to be self sufficient and didn’t want to change it, but replaced the red exterior trim with gold, added Manhart racing stripes on the sides, hood and roof, and also replaced the original 22 inch wheels with larger 24 inch wheels with fishnet spokes and gold paint.

The interior is re-covered in leather/alcantara and generously decorated with gold-colored inserts, while the regular carbon fiber inserts are preserved.

Installation of a mechanical drive supercharger along with refined cooling system helped to increase engine output to 650 hp and 600 Nm, modified intake (shorter tract) and exhaust systems (sport catalytic converter, more rich than the stock car sound at the output).

How did the dynamic characteristics of the SUV change after the upgrade of the engine, the German company did not report.

It is interesting that these characteristics of the stock Patrol Nismo are also sequestered — apparently there is nothing to boast about. The price of Manhart PT 650 is reported on request.
