Aston Martin has officially unveiled the Valkyrie V12 Spider, which is «the fastest and most extreme open-top road supercar in the history of the British brand.»

In its home country of America, Lincoln no longer sells sedans:

the local range now consists only of crossovers and SUVs.

China is another matter, where buyers still willingly take cars. Therefore, a new sedan Lincoln Zephyr was developed for the local market, which premiere took place at the auto show in Guangzhou.

The name Zephyr is historical for Lincoln — it was the name of the «junior» model from 1936 to 1942.

Then Lincoln Zephyr appeared in the range only in 2005, but already in 2006 this car was given an index MKZ.

So now is the third appearance of the Zephyr. And this is the first Lincoln sedan, which production will be set up in China — at the facilities of joint venture Changan Ford.

Lincoln Zephyr is developed mainly by Chinese scientific and technical center, though with attraction of specialists from Ford’s California bureau.

Genesis Electrified GV70 introduced in China: electric crossover variant.

The electric version of the crossover Genesis GV70 has premiered in China on November 19, 2021, with the prefix «Electrified» in the name.

Outwardly, the novelty is not so different from the standard gasoline and diesel cars. Recognize it by the presence of a plug instead of the grille, which at the same time has a built-in charging connector.

Plus the electric variant of the SUV has a smoothed bumper design and different wheels. The interior is standard, although the graphics of the digital dashboard is slightly changed.

The trunk has a socket for connecting external consumers with a capacity of up to 3.6 kW.

Genesis Electrified GV70 is based on the E-GMP platform components. In particular, the crossover received a charging system, working with a voltage of 800 volts.

It supports up to 350 kW of power, allowing the battery charge to be replenished from 10 to 80% in about 20 minutes.

The capacity of traction battery is not announced, but according to the specification it should cover 400 kilometers, although according to the Chinese standard of measurement range is 500 kilometers.

The official presentation of the show car of the American brand, owned by the GM concern, took place within the framework of the auto show that opened its doors in Guangzhou.

Buick company has developed a one-wheelers GL8 specifically for Chinese market: it appeared in the model lineup in 1999.

The production is established at the local plant, owned by a joint venture of General Motors and SAIC.

The car of the second generation was presented in 2010, and six years later the «third» minivan entered the market.

For some time on the Chinese market there were all three generations of the model, but later the «first» GL8 still retired.

Now here are minivans of the second and third generations, and both models have gone through a restyling in the 2020th. Meanwhile, the company is working on the next — fourth — Buick GL8.

The forerunner of the flagship minivan is a concept, which the American brand presented at the auto show in Guangzhou.

The show car was created by employees of the technology center in Shanghai, which includes specialists from both SAIC and GM.
