The all-wheel-drive Toyota Hilux 2022 enters new markets. Prices of the updated model are announced.
Today the Japanese car company Toyota has expanded the geography of sales of its frame truck Toyota Hilux 2022 to the Indian market, thus, here the model made its debut back in January, and then were announced its pre-orders.
Thus, all versions of the Hilux for India offered exclusively with all-wheel drive.
Thus, the model is available in three trim levels for a minimum price of 3.4 million rupees (3.65 million rubles) and up to 3.68 million rupees for the top version (3.95 million rubles).
The vehicle is offered exclusively with a double 4-door cab and has the following dimensions — 5,325/1855/3085 mm, which is the length, width and height, respectively.
As standard the model is equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights and «fog lights».
Also on the body can be noted chrome plating and elements of black unpainted plastic. Five different colors of the pickup body are available for purchase.
The interior space of the model is quite similar to what Toyota offers for the Indian market in the Fortuner SUV.
Here in the top versions buyers can enjoy 8.0-inch multimedia display, dual-zone climate control, leather upholstery seats, 7 airbags, front and rear parking sensors, active traction control and limited slip differential.
The interior of the model is quite practical and here we can note the large cup holders on the central tunnel, as well as many niches for storing «little things».
The engine part of the pickup also coincides with Toyota Fortuner. It is equipped with a 2.8-liter turbodiesel, producing 205 hp and 420 N*m of torque.
It is capable of interacting with a six-speed manual transmission in the base version or with a six-band «automatic» in more expensive variants.
Unlike the Fortuner, however, the new Hilux is offered exclusively with an all-wheel drive system.
To improve off-road capabilities, the updated Hilux also received a downshift transmission.
