Exeed RX 2023.

Coupe-shaped crossover Exeed RX reached Russia in the summer of 2023.

At the end of July twenty-third in Russia, official sales of the Exeed RX coupe-shaped crossover started.

In China, this model debuted last year and is known under the name «Yaoguang».

The new Exid RX 2023 is a serial version of the previously shown AtlantiX concept, on which the Chinese have tested some design solutions.

At the front, the crossover draws attention to itself with a frameless radiator grille, the pattern of which consists of many diamond-shaped elements.

The car has expressive head optics with boomerang-shaped DRLs.

At the same time, the main headlight units are interconnected by a black panel on which the “EXEED” inscription glows.

In profile, the Chinese crossover demonstrates smooth body features with a roofline falling to the stern.

By the way, the shape of its rear pillars resembles that of the Japanese Lexus RX.

The sirloin part of the SUV has lights made in the form of a narrow strip and an aggressive bumper with double-barreled exhaust system divorced on the sides (in fact, they are fake, and the only real pipe is hidden under the bumper).

The cabin of the new Exeed RX 2023 is characterized by the presence of a single cluster of virtual tidy and multimedia system: their screens are placed on a curved panel with a diagonal of 24.6″.

There are a minimum of physical buttons here: they are only present on the steering wheel and the compact climate control unit.

Right under the latter there is a platform for wireless charging of smartphones.

Interior design of the car pulls on the premium. In particular, the Chinese used Nappa leather for seat trim.

You can directly adjust the front seats from the buttons located on the door cards (as on modern Mercedes).

Specifications

In terms of overall dimensions, the Exeed RX SUV reaches a length of 4,781 mm.

By the way, the TXL model has the same amount from bumper to bumper. The wheelbase of the novelty is 2,815 mm (+ 15), width — 1,920 mm (+ 35), height — 1,671 mm (- 59), ground clearance (clearance) — 187 millimeters.

It is reported that in the power structure of the body of the new Exid RH 2023, the share of ultra-high-strength steels reaches 85%.

The SUV, built on the M3X 2.0 platform, is driven by a non-alternative two-liter TGDI turbo engine.

On machines in the Chinese specification, the latter produces 261 hp. (400 Nm), but for Russia its tax-friendly deformed version for 249 forces (385 Nm) is declared.

According to the OTTS issued for the model, you can refuel «ninety-second».

In conjunction with the motor, a seven-band Getrag robot with two “wet” clutches works.

Such a bunch of units provides the car with acceleration to hundreds in 7.6 seconds and a top speed of 200 kilometers per hour.

The drive for Russian cars is declared exclusively full (with a clutch for connecting the rear axle), although in the domestic (Chinese) market the model can also be ordered in a single-drive version.

Note that the 2023 Exeed RX is the first in the line to get an adaptive suspension and has seven driving presets (eco, standard, sport, snow, mud, sand and off-road).

Among them is a special off-road mode with forced clutch lock (a first for Exeed models).

Sensors on the car body monitor the road, adjusting the stiffness of the suspension (depending on the conditions), and Bosch specialists were responsible for steering settings.

Earlier, representatives of the Chinese brand conducted surveys among Russians, the purpose of which was to identify options that were interesting to potential buyers.

This means that the content of the complete sets of the model has not yet been finally determined. At the same time, it is known that our car will be offered in two versions with a fixed list of equipment.

Options and prices

It is likely that in our market the Exid RX will be available exclusively with 20-inch wheels, although 19-inch wheels can be ordered in China.

At the same time, six body colors were offered to choose from (five are free, and for a special shade of «moon gray» you have to pay 200,000 r).

On June 23, dealers opened orders for the first limited batch of 500 cars — all of them were in the top Platinum version with rich equipment, and the price of such a crossover was a decent 5,400,000 rubles.

The package includes eight airbags, 20″ wheels, a panoramic roof, a Sony audio system with 14 speakers, a leather interior, heating and ventilation of all seats, electric front seats (with a passenger seat with a folding footrest and massage), as well as a set of electronic assistants and more.

It is noteworthy that on ad sites you can find offers from private sellers and firms that ask for an average of 3.5 to 4.2 million rubles for Exid RX / Yaoguang.

Of course, they are not covered by the warranty and tax on 261 hp. will be higher, but the difference in cost is tangible.
