The new 3rd generation Honda HR-V crossover with the most powerful engine has been officially unveiled.

The third-generation Honda HR-V 2022 with a forced powertrain has been officially unveiled in Indonesia.

This crossover modification is not available in any market.

The new version of the Honda HR-V came out with the prefix RS. This crossover variant is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with a maximum output of 175 hp and 240 N*m of towing torque.

Due to the new unit Honda HR-V for the Indonesian market has become the most powerful version of the Japanese model.

In China today two more crossover modifications with more output are sold. But these versions are equipped exclusively with electric motors.

Visually, the presented model is slightly different from the HR-V presented in other countries.

Refinement of the appearance of the crossover has led to the fact that it has acquired a more sporty look.

This effect is emphasized by a new front bumper with a volumetric ledge, which hides an elongated air intake and thin fog lights, made on the sides.

At the back of the crossover appeared two exhaust pipes. In addition, the pattern of the radiator grille consists of small metal bars, because of which it has acquired volumetric outlines.

Headlights and other exterior details look standard.

Recall that in early April there will be a presentation of the new Honda HR-V for the U.S. market.

It is not known yet whether the manufacturer will change the crossover for the U.S. Data on the technical part is also not disclosed.

Perhaps the American market will see standard versions of the HR-V with a 1.5-liter «atmospheric» at the core.

Such unit is installed on modifications of the model, which is already on sale in Japan (here it is known as the Vezel) and Europe.

Subcompact crossover Honda HR-V has changed its generation. Moreover, simultaneously with the European variant of the model the Japanese twin brother Vezel is presented.

«The third» HR-V has received a completely new exterior and interior design and a hybrid unit e:HEV.

Sales of the new Honda HR-V in Europe will start by the end of this year. The e:HEV hybrid powertrain, like the Jazz, has no alternative.

On the hatchback, it consists of a 1.5 gasoline «four» running on the fuel-efficient Atkinson cycle, a generator motor, a traction electric motor and a lithium-ion battery.

Total output is 109 horsepower and 253 Nm of torque. The power plant will have three driving modes and the possibility to choose one of the four deceleration intensity levels when releasing the accelerator pedal.
