The English company is preparing an extreme version of its SUV, which will receive the SVX index.

Test samples have already been repeatedly captured by spy photographers, thanks to which we have the opportunity to imagine what the new product will look like.

The current generation Defender SUV debuted in September 2019.

Since then, it has received many modifications, including in terms of the body: now the model is presented in three-door (90) and five-door (110) versions, and last spring an extended modification with index 130 was added to them.

As for the engine range, today the most outstanding is the version with a 5.0-liter V8 producing 525 hp.

And now Land Rover is preparing an even more extreme modification with the SVX index.

Judging by the available spy photos, the new product will be distinguished by wide linings on the wheel arches and, accordingly, a wider track.

The SUV will receive larger “toothed” wheels with original rims (which may increase ground clearance); modifications to the front and rear bumpers are also possible.

In addition, test prototypes are already showing four round exhaust pipes, as on current models with an 8-cylinder engine.

In addition to external changes, the model will probably receive a number of improvements to the chassis.

As for the engine, it is expected that the new product will be equipped with a 4.4-liter V8 biturbo engine produced by BMW with a capacity of more than 600 hp.

The premiere of the new Defender SVX is expected next year.

It promises to bring to market a more radical SUV than the current model. The images show a more aggressive front end with a larger bumper that sits closer to the ground and has an integrated tread in the center.

The additions to the wheel arches have disappeared, but the front and rear tracks have become wider. In addition, the wheel arches themselves now look more bulky.

This is due to the fact that the manufacturer has slightly changed the rear overhang. Also below you can see the metal protection running from the front to the doors of the first row.

The SUV’s suspension received new springs and shock absorbers with increased travel.

Also seen are special Goodrich 275/60 BF all-terrain tires mounted on 20-inch alloy wheels. The titanium exhaust system is the icing on the cake.
