The Ford GT40 electric supercar will have 800 horsepower and a range of 200 km.

The British company Everatti, which specializes in transforming classic cars into electric cars, told us about its latest project.

It is a «green» modification of the iconic Ford GT40 supercar, which the tuner is ready to make to order.

Such electric car will get a two-motor electric propulsion system and all-wheel drive.

Total efficiency of a pair of electric motors is 800 horsepower. The electric supercar will reach a hundred faster than in four seconds.

For safety of pedestrians and cyclists the electric car is equipped with a special system that imitates the sound of an ordinary motor.

The battery of 46 kWh is responsible for 200 kilometers of electric mileage. This is quite modest by modern standards.

The basis of the electric car is a steel space frame. The suspension in the front and rear is fully independent, with Bilstein shock absorbers.

Having updated the Audi Q5 for 2022, the German concern has revised the list of available modifications.

As a result, this led to the fact that the crossover became less powerful, but its price has slightly increased.

Now the Audi Q5 is priced at a minimum of $43,300 on the U.S. market, when its predecessor was $100 cheaper.

The pre-reformed version of the German crossover was equipped by default with a 261-horsepower motor.

But in the updated modification Audi Q5 is equipped with the supercharged 2-liter engine developing up to 201 hp and 320 N*m as standard.

It is connected with an all-wheel drive and two-disk 7 steps «robot».  Acceleration to a «hundred» in a new Audi Q5 takes 6.8 seconds (the pre-reform model has 5.7 seconds).

Maximum speed of the crossover is artificially limited at 209 km/h.

Volvo has prepared a new package for the S60 sedan called «Black Edition».

The latter adds a number of black components, due to which the four-door looks more formidable.

Volvo S60 Black Edition offered exclusively in two body shades: black «Onyx Black Metallic» and white «Crystal White Metallic».

The sedan also gets 19-inch gloss black wheels.

Plus, this special edition features black grille, nameplates and decorative elements.

At the stern, darkened exhaust system spigots draw attention. It is reported that this package is available for Volvo S60 2022 model year.

The new Suzuki Baleno hits the market: older, richer and more expensive.

The compact five-door has been transformed both outside and inside. Moreover, the list of available equipment is significantly expanded.

Hatchback, for which the name Baleno was revived (in the ’90s, there was a whole family with such name in Suzuki’s lineup), is produced since 2015; modest modernization was conducted in 2019.

The model was conceived as a global one, even the possibility of its appearance in Russia was considered.

But it did not reach us, did not take root in Europe: in this region sales were finally closed in 2020.

Nevertheless, in India, where the basic manufacture site is located (Maruti Suzuki — the daughter of Japanese company — is responsible for its release), the five-door is in great demand: last year it was sold there 172 237 units (+12%) — and it is the third best-selling car in the country (Maruti Suzuki Swift is on the second line, Maruti Suzuki Wagon R is leading).
