How much is the new 2021 Suzuki Vitara in Russia: on the official dealer’s website, the price of the model varies from 1,429,000 to 1,979,000 rubles. In our market, the car is sold in three trim levels: GL, GL + and GLX.

For the Russian version of the Suzuki Vitara, there are two gasoline engines to choose from: a 1.6-liter aspirated and a 1.4-liter turbocharged unit (both four-cylinder). From transmissions, either a five-speed manual or a six-speed automatic is available, and the drive can be either front or full.

The basic GL configuration includes ABS, ESP, audio system, air conditioning, front power windows, heated seats, seven airbags, 16 ″ steel wheels, central locking with remote control and electrically adjustable heated mirrors. At the same time, the version of the model with automatic transmission is additionally equipped with an assistance system when starting up the hill.

More powerful versions of the model are equipped with a 1.4-liter Boosterjet turbo engine that develops 140 forces and 220 Nm of torque. This unit works exclusively with automatic transmission, although you can order a car with both front and all-wheel drive. On the 2WD version, acceleration from 0-100 km / h is possible in 9.5 s, and on 4WD — in 10.2. The maximum speed in both cases is 200 kilometers per hour.

One of the main advantages of the new 2021 Suzuki Vitara is the well-knocked down power-hungry suspension. The latter is especially pleasant when operating the car on public roads. The crossover is also not afraid of the primer and rides on it more than confidently, but the level of comfort here already leaves much to be desired — the suspension handles irregularities harshly, although breakdowns are not observed.

Note that during the restyling, the Japanese definitely worked on the steering settings, nullifying the void in the steering wheel. The latter is now as informative and accurate as possible.

As for the engines, the aspirated engine is frankly weak, and acceleration to a hundred in such cars takes forever, although it is more than suitable for urban use. The turbocharged unit is noticeably more fun in this regard: its 140 «horses» are driven fervently and energetically even on the track.

Overview (exterior and interior)

The new Suzuki Vitara 2021 has a rather aggressive exterior design. A «toothy» radiator grille with a large brand logo in the center is installed at the front. On the sides, strict and slightly squinted headlights adjoin it, while the massive bumper has an elegant design of the side sections, into which not only stylish stripes of DRL are neatly inscribed, but also round foglights.

The lean and dynamic silhouette of the SUV is formed by sloping bumpers, widened wheel arches with 16 or 17-inch wheels, as well as a sloping roofline, which on some trim levels can be painted in contrasting black. The crossover stern is characterized by the presence of multifaceted lampshades and a catchy stamping under the registration plate on the tailgate.

The interior decoration of the new Suzuki Vitara 2021 model also did not disappoint. The front panel has a strict minimalist design with a striking decorative overlay. A 7.0-inch monitor of the multimedia system is mounted in its central part, above which is flaunting chrome-accented round ventilation deflectors with an analog clock placed between them.

Also, the car has a stylish dashboard with silver dials of the tachometer and speedometer, between which, during the update, a 4.2-inch color screen of the on-board computer with animation of driving modes was «registered».

The front seats on the 2021 Suzuki Vitara in the new body are small, but very dense. They have well-developed lateral support and a wide range of adjustments (mechanical). Ergonomics is at a high level, but there is still something to complain about. For example, the buttons on the steering wheel are too small, and the key for disabling the stabilization system is for some reason hidden to the left of the steering wheel.

On the second row, the back is set too vertical, and the pillow is too short. At the same time, the sofa itself is not wide, which means that only two people can sit comfortably here. Plus, they should not be too tall, otherwise they will support the front seats with their knees, and the ceiling with their tops.

In addition, while driving in the back, there is a constant monotonous noise coming from somewhere under the arches, although in front there are no serious questions about noise isolation.
