Lynk & Co 02 2021. Lynk & Co 02, which has turned from an SUV into a hot hatch, is preparing for the start of sales: 6.2 seconds to a hundred.
In the new version, the Chinese «five-door» acquired a powerful petrol «turbo-four», in addition, the design of the car was corrected.
The Lynk & Co 02 model debuted in 2018, it is built on the CMA (Compact Modular Architecture) platform, developed by Geely together with Volvo (the Lynk & Co brand itself is also a joint project of the Chinese and Swedish companies).
«Deuce» is considered a SUV, it already has a black plastic body kit «in the base». But in the new version, the «five-door» changed its image: the sport version was named 02 Hatchback.
The first show of the hot hatch took place in April at the Shanghai Motor Show, and now the novelty has appeared on the official website of the brand, in addition, the sales start date has been announced — the Chinese will be able to purchase such a Link from June 1 of this year.
The body kit is still there, but it is now painted in body color. Lynk & Co 02 Hatchback also got new bumpers, four exhaust pipes instead of two for the cross-hatch and 19-inch wheels (17- or 18-inch wheels are provided for the cross), and the radiator grille has a different pattern.
Well, only the hatch can be bright orange. The length of the new version is 4458 mm, which is 10 mm longer than the SUV, the wheelbase is the same 2702 mm.
The suspension has also been reconfigured and the ground clearance has been reduced, although the latter indicator has not been named (some Chinese media write about 141 mm, while the «crossover» has 202 mm).
The interior is trimmed in Alcantara, there are orange decorative inserts, and the graphics of the virtual “tidy” have been changed.
The list of equipment also includes: climate control, a multimedia system with a large touchscreen, heated and ventilated front seats, all-round cameras, adaptive cruise control, automatic braking systems (with the function of recognizing pedestrians) and keeping in the lane.
The Lynk & Co 02 Hatchback is equipped with a Volvo 2.0 Drive-E gasoline turbo four, which produces 254 hp. and 350 Nm, the engine is combined with an eight-speed «automatic» Aisin.
The top «traditional» cross-hatch (there is also a hybrid with an installation based on a 1.5 turbo engine, but we do not take it into account) is offered with a 190-horsepower version of the 2.0 turbo engine (300 Nm) and 6АКП.
But the hatchback did not get all-wheel drive — only the front one. Lynk & Co claims that the first «hundred» 02 Hatchback will pick up in 6.2 seconds
By the way, in the Lynk & Co lineup there is another «hot» model — 03+, that is, the sport version of the 03 sedan. acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h — 5.9 seconds.
The price will be announced on June 1, cross-hatch 02 today costs from 119,800 yuan, which is equivalent to approximately 1,372,000 rubles at the current exchange rate.
The Lynk & Co brand should get out of the «celestial» market this year — they will start from Europe, but the «two» will not appear there yet, the first-born in the Old World will be a full-fledged SUV under the 01 index.
