The German brand «Audi» is famous for its ability to produce premium sedans with ultra-modern appearance, luxurious filling and excellent indicators of reliability and safety.

The long-awaited restyling has recently been received by the flagship model of the company — A8. Manufacturers have made the body of the 2021 Audi A8 even more resistant to corrosion, decorated it with additional details and touches, and also improved aerodynamic performance.

Exterior

Judging by the photo, the elite German three-volume box has become even more noble, more visually and softer due to smooth relief transitions, a graceful window line and huge air intakes, complemented by modern lighting technology.

The most interesting is the front part of the Audi A8 2021. It is set low, but at the same time it is wide and very long. At the top is a huge, strongly tilted windshield, turning into a wide, massive hood with a raised center section.

The inclination of the front of the lid towards the road slightly improves visibility from the driver’s seat, but in general it is not very comfortable for a short person to drive the car.

Directly in front of the bonnet are pointed, narrow headlights with high-quality LED fillings. Between them is the wide «smile» of the huge hexagon of the radiator grille.

It extends almost the entire height of the muzzle, seriously going into the body kit, and contains chrome horizontal sipes and edging, a huge brand badge and a plate under the license plate just below it.

The body kit of the new body includes several aerodynamic transitions, a narrow slot for an additional air intake, as well as recesses along the edges, into which foglights can be mounted. All this is complemented by additional horizontal chrome stripes.

The profile part begins with a domed roof, emphasized by a semicircle of large, strict windows. Visually, they are united into one figure by a wide chrome frame and massive black-matte racks.

Below are large rounded exterior mirrors on stylish legs, smooth relief, resting against a decorative chrome strip in the sill area, as well as huge, stylish wheel arches with bright branded discs inside.

At the rear, the car is a classic modern sedan with the only difference that the luggage compartment lid is slightly longer than it can be seen on budget cars.

A sleek aerodynamic ledge runs along its trailing edge, and immediately below it are thin LED position lights that merge into a single line.

Below there is a modest relief, a small stamping for the registration plate and nameplates with information about the modification of the car.

The chubby bumper contains parking sensors, fog lamps and a protective metal insert at the bottom, in which two narrow trapezoidal slots are made for the exhaust pipes.

Interior

In the cabin of the new Audi A8 2021 model year, only «advanced» materials of the highest quality are observed: leather, two types of plastic and even inserts made of aluminum and wood.

According to the passport, the novelty will retain a five-seater layout, but it will be more convenient to move in it four people.

The first row of seats will receive ergonomic separate seats with developed support from the sides, rather soft filling, an abundance of electric position adjustment drives, and other, no less interesting «bells and whistles».

The second row is a three-seater luxury sofa with a massive multi-functional center armrest, multimedia tablets and portable footrests.

In the top there may be two separate reclining chairs with electric drives, heating, a safety curtain, and a massager mounted in the back of the front passenger seat.

The trunk of a representative sedan is capable of taking more than 500 liters of cargo, however, as the test drive showed, it is problematic to place anything large in it, since the opening is noticeably narrowed.

Under the floor of the luggage compartment there is a dock and a set of driver’s tools.

Specifications

For the Audi A8 2021, several types of engines of different types have been prepared. The diesel hybrid with a volume of 3 liters produces a tax-friendly 249 «horses», consuming less than 7 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers.

The petrol three-liter turbo engine produces 340 forces, however, the fuel consumption is higher here: about 7.7 liters for every «hundred».

The petrol four-liter shows a solid 459 horsepower at a consumption of 10 liters. The characteristics of the most powerful 4-liter gasoline unit are as follows: 570 forces and a consumption of 13.5 liters.

It will take less than 5 seconds to disperse this monster to «hundreds»! Regardless of the modification, the drive of the machine will be complete, and it will be provided by an automatic eight-stage. The luxury sedan has a top speed limit of 250 km / h.

Options and prices

The car will be offered in six trim levels, each of which can be expanded with the purchase of an additional package.

The starting price of the sedan will cross the mark of 6.2 million units of the Russian currency, while the most expensive versions will cost already 9.6 million rubles.

Competing models

The model does not have many rivals for the buyer’s wallet, and they are traditional: a Mercedes S-class, as well as a BMW «seven».
