The painted BMW 8 Gran Coupe X Jeff Koons 2022 will cost an immodest 27 million rubles.

The model BMW 8-Series Gran Coupe has got a limited edition special version called «8 X Jeff Koons», developed together with the famous American artist Jeff Koons.

It is reported that this modification is based on the BMW M850i xDrive Gran Coupe and is primarily notable for a special multicolor exterior design.

In fact, the BMW 8 X Jeff Koons is painted in 11 different colors, including blue, yellow, silver and black shades.

Plus, the car’s body is adorned with uncomplicated drawings. It takes about 285 hours to paint one such car.

The unusual color scheme was developed by experts from the Landshut workshop under the leadership of Jeff Koons.

According to the idea, such a variegated design is a kind of tribute to the racing BMW M3 GT2, on which the American artist worked in 2010.

The interior of the limited edition «eight» is also smart. The upholstery of the seats is made in red and blue colors, which is a reference to the corporate palette of BMW M Division.

Meanwhile, the interior also features a special series emblem, and on the cupholder panel, you can see the personal signature of the American artist, made in the color «Bavarian blue».

In terms of technology, there are no changes, so the special modification is driven by a standard 4.4-liter V8 engine, which works with an eight-speed automatic and produces 530 hp.

The limited edition circulation will make 99 cars, which will be sold all over the world (including Russia).

Each of the buyers will receive an individual certificate with the signatures of Oliver Zipes and Jeff Koons.

As for the price, for an unusual «eight» will have to pay 350,000 dollars (26.6 million rubles at current exchange rates).

For comparison, the donor M850i xDrive is much cheaper — from $99,900 (7.6 million rubles).
