Chrysler Airflow Graphite 2025 concept car officially revealed: updated design and other equipment.
A few days ago, the «veil of secrecy» was slightly lifted on the official teaser regarding the new Chrysler Airflow Graphite 2025 concept car.
Now the car is officially revealed at the exhibition, which takes place in New York.
Recall that the model was introduced last year, but later it became known about the modernization, which affected mainly external data.
As reported, the novelty is part of a global marketing plan for the electrification of the model range.
In particular, in 2025, a serial variation of the car should appear, and by 2030, all vehicles of the brand will be “battery-powered”.
As you can see, the concept has not only been slightly updated externally, but also received a prefix in the name “Graphite”.
This can be explained by the color in which the car body is painted — Galaxy Black. The Chrysler Airflow Graphite looks visually very brutal.
Moreover, the designers managed to achieve this effect without the use of a radiator grille. In principle, this module is not required for an electric car.
The second point worth noting is that there is no familiar logo on the front bumper. The optics are also presented in a different style.
But the rims remained the same. By the way, even the size was kept in the same values — 22 inches.
The interior of the concept is futuristic and stylish. Here, the finishes are dominated by the Ice Gray shade, while the decor is represented by the Cyprus Copper color.
By the way, this range is also present in the exterior. As for the equipment, the atmosphere of manufacturability prevails, but there is also the necessary comfort option.
On the other hand, this is only a concept so far, so futuristic notes can be traced in the interior.
It is reported that the car is equipped with multiple displays, as well as a modern infotainment system that is updated wirelessly.
Specifications have largely remained the same. So, the concept is equipped with the STLA AutoDrive system, the development of which involved specialists from the BMW concern.
This technology is able to independently analyze the condition on the road and carry out a number of maneuvers offline.
The Chrysler Airflow Graphite is available with two electric motors for a combined output of 400 horsepower. Autonomy is declared in the range from 563 to 643 kilometers.
