Polestar 2 2021: a novelty in the world of electric cars.
More and more manufacturers are launching the production of electric cars, and some of them even make only such cars. One of these companies is Polistar, a new model of which was presented to the world not so long ago.

We are talking about the Polistar 2 2021 — a stylish electric liftback that should compete with the Tesla Model 3. And this car has everything for this.

The car looks quite stylish, which is why both young drivers and older ones will like it, it has a high-quality interior with good finishing and advanced multimedia, and will also delight its owner with excellent technical characteristics that allow you to move by car both in the city and in his outside.

One of the main advantages of the car is its stylish appearance. The new body is somewhat reminiscent of Tesla in terms of the dimensions and shapes of the main elements, but in detail they are not alike at all.

In the photo of the liftback one can observe a variety of undulating relief, which has a positive effect on aerodynamics, formidable optics, air intake systems of an unusual shape, stylish discs and other small decorations, thanks to which such a bright appearance of the car is formed.

From the front, the car looks the most aggressive. The muzzle of the car does not take up much space, and is also not so high, which allows any person to feel comfortable behind the wheel and assess the situation on the road well. The slope of the muzzle also contributes to this.

Decorations can be seen in large numbers. It all starts with the bonnet, which is strewn with light wavy height transitions. At the very end of the lid is the Polistar brand badge.

The cover is followed by a polygonal air intake system, the central part of which is slightly recessed into the body. Inside, the grille will receive a coarse mesh, the elements of which will be painted in gloss black.

On the same level with the air intake, on the sides of it, there are headlights of an unusual shape, for which LED lights will be used in any configuration, which perfectly cope with road illumination, and also well save battery power.

Further, the body kit begins, most of which is covered with various transitions in height. Here you can also see another small trapezoidal air intake, triangular recesses on the sides filled with foglights, as well as several decorative inserts or a protective layer, if provided by the configuration option.

The liftback looks stylish on the sides. Above, you can see a very small figure, which consists of windows. They will be framed and divided into parts only by black glossy stripes of small width.

The rear-view mirrors, which have got a triangular shape, as well as repeaters of turn signals, look bright here. The main part of the profile is content with a variety of undulating relief, door handles that can be painted in chrome, large wheel arches and a continuation of the protective layer available in some trim levels.

The rear of the liftback is very interestingly decorated, although there is not much decor here. It all starts as befits this type of body — with a large luggage compartment window, which is part of the door and is located at a large slope.

On the main part of the door, you can already see a little relief, a chrome-plated icon of the Polistar brand, interesting dimensional signals made in the style of Volvo, to which this brand belongs, and connected by a line of stop lights.

Below you can see a large and slightly protruding body kit, which is decorated with a recess under the license plate, fog signals, and a protective layer. The exhaust system is not provided here, as this is an electric car.

Salon

The interior of the car is in no way inferior to its appearance. The new Polistar 2 of the 2021 model year will be trimmed with materials such as genuine leather, alcantara, aluminum, fabrics and various types of plastic.

To compete with Tesla, the car needs advanced multimedia, which has a bunch of options that increase comfort and make life easier for the driver. This is exactly what this car has got.

There is nothing superfluous on the dashboard. All that can be seen here is a large, vertical touchscreen monitor. It is from him that most of the available functionality will be configured.

Then the torpedo goes into a tunnel, which begins with a depression for storing things. Next, the tunnel is filled with a small technical panel, a couple of compartments for glasses and an armrest, under which another compartment for things is hidden.

The car has five very comfortable seats, which provide a high level of safety and comfort to all passengers. This is achieved thanks to good support on the sides, electric adjustment of the position of the seats, heating, as well as other useful options.

Specifications

Polestar 2 2021 will be driven by two electric motors, which are located on each axis.

Their total output will be 408 horsepower. The motors will be powered by a battery with a capacity of 78 kWh.

As the test drive shows, such characteristics will allow the car to travel up to 500 kilometers on a single battery charge.

Acceleration to the first hundred on the speedometer will take only 4.7 seconds, which is also quite a good indicator.

Options and prices

First, a limited edition of the car will go on sale, each car of which is estimated at 60 thousand euros. Then the price of the electric car will drop to an acceptable 40 thousand euros.
