Unofficial renders of the Tesla Precept electric roadster have been unveiled.
Foreign portal CarsCoops publishes independent illustrations from designer Khizil Salim. These renders show Tesla concept electric car.
Tesla is developing a second-generation roadster that will be comparable to hypercars in terms of power. Only that the cost of such a car will be noticeably cheaper.
The automaker itself keeps the design of the future novelty a secret for now, but this did not prevent artist Khizil Salim from presenting his vision of this battery-powered model.
This creation is called the Tesla Precept Concept, and it has some influence from models like the Porsche Mission R, Rimac Nevera, Czinger 21C and Lotus Evija.
The overall shape and profile of the electric car on the renders is derived from a prototype introduced by Tesla more than four years ago.
The front end of the electric car is especially striking due to the intricate bumper with a protruding splitter. Complementing the bold image is tinted optics.
At the front of the model there are narrow headlights, from which wide air intake slots go down. By the way, the front bumper is very low.
Therefore, if such a car came out, it could be driven only on a specialized track or a very flat track.
The car’s profile attracts attention with a very large air duct, carbon fiber overlay on the sill and large wheel disks.
At the stern of the model there is a through lamp and a bulky diffuser, which gives the Tesla Precept Concept an aggressive look.
The Precept also got big black wheels, athletic fenders, a set of complex skirts and huge air intakes.
There are also miniature cameras in place of the traditional exterior mirrors. The stern has a massive spoiler and complex diffuser to increase downforce.
As for the appearance of the new roadster, Elon Musk himself announced the premiere in 2023.
Recall, the Tesla Roadster model was presented in the form of a concept four years ago.
This car should become the most powerful in the company’s lineup. However, now little is known about the equipment and technical characteristics of the Tesla Roadster 2.
It has already become a tradition for Ilon Musk to postpone the debut of this car.
At a conference held on January 27, the head of the brand said that the release date of the car is scheduled for 2023, but there is no guarantee that this will be true.
