Toyota Aqua 2023.

The updated Toyota Aqua in GR Sport version for 1.16 million is officially presented.

Since the launch of the first generation Toyota Aqua in 2011, this model has always had a «future-oriented standard.

It has become the best-selling car due to its excellent fuel efficiency and ease of handling.

To date, more than 1.87 million units of the vehicle have been sold worldwide.

The Toyota Aqua is a miniature hybrid replica of the Prius. It is sold outside of Japan as the Prius C. On November 29 of this year, the facelifted Toyota Aqua 2023 was introduced.

Along with it debuted the GR Sport version priced from 2.595 million yen (approx. 1,160,000 rubles), which received exclusive details of the exterior, suspension and chassis.

In the Toyota Aqua, the configuration has been largely upgraded. The functional package includes an interior rear-view mirror with automatic anti-glare coating and a traffic recorder.

In addition, four new interior color schemes have been offered. Z-Class models will be complemented by black and orange decorative elements.

Seats covered in synthetic leather and mesh fabric are offered for the GS SPORT model.

The Aqua GR SPORT is a second-generation model that utilizes technology aimed at improving steering stability and performance acceleration.

Thanks to the experience gained in motor racing, the car has been significantly improved.

The body stiffness has been improved by adding supports in two places under the underbody, which has affected stability and smooth running.

The front suspension provides excellent responsiveness thanks to the tuning of shock absorbers and coil springs, changes in stabilizer characteristics, special stoppers, and upgraded lower arm silent blocks.

All of this improves the car’s behavior as well as driving comfort.

The rear undercarriage is similar to the torsion beam suspension of the base car, and the coil springs and shock absorbers are specially tuned for the GR SPORT.

The Aqua GR SPORT exterior features an exclusive front bumper, a polygonal grille and the GR logo inlaid on the bottom, which can straighten the airflow around the front tires, reducing air resistance.

POTENZA RE050A 205/45R17 tires are «shod» on 17-inch black aluminum rims. The front brake calipers with GR logo and red coating emphasize the sporty character of the car.

Side skirts reinforce the low center of gravity of the body. The rear-view mirror housings are painted in black, indicating the special personality of the model.

The new car is built on the TNGA-B platform and is powered by a three-cylinder 1.5 M15A-FXE engine that produces 91 hp.

It is combined with an electric motor producing 80 hp. Transmission is an electronic gearbox E-CVT.
