McLaren Artura GT4 2023.

The British from McLaren declassified racing version of the supercar Artura.

The modification got prefix «GT4» in the name and is designed to replace the outgoing 570S GT4.

McLaren Artura GT4 differs from the road version of the model by the presence of a new aerodynamic dodger.

The latter consists of the original splitter, flaps and hood with ventilation slots.

The track supercar is equipped with adjustable wing (seven positions).

It is installed on the so-called G-pillars, which means the rear body panels can be removed without having to dismantle the wing itself.

The interior is characterized by a Bosch DDU dashboard, adjustable pedal assembly, GT3-style steering wheel and a fixed driver’s seat.

Like the road model, the McLaren Artura GT4 2023 race car is based on the McLaren Carbon Lightweight Architecture (MCLA) carbon monocoque, but it is 130kg lighter than the donor and about 100kg lighter than the 570S GT4.

The point is that Brits did not use heavy eight-cylinder engine M838, having used lightweight twin-turbo V6 M630 engine instead, which has 120 degree cylinder block angle.

Even more weight reduction was due to refusal of a hybrid superstructure.

At the same time, the supercar got a 110-liter fuel tank with three pumps.

If the road supercar has an eight-range SSG robot with two clutches, the racing version uses a seven-speed transmission.

It boasts a built-in diagnostics program and optimized ratios.

All the electronics for the track two-door is from Germans from Bosch Motorsport.

Adjustable ABS and traction control are available. Cable assemblies of the car are made modular, which is designed to simplify repair and maintenance.

Of other equipment, a mechanical limited slip differential built into the rear axle of the supercar is worth noting.

The racing modification got improved brakes cooling and reconfigured suspension.

The automaker asks at least £200,000 (13.5 million rubles at the current exchange rate) for the Artura GT4.

A wide list of options is available for the coupe (for example, laser ground clearance sensors, a telemetry complex, a tire pressure control system, and a collision avoidance function).
