Exact date of the debut of the new Changan Eado Plus: motors and equipment of the updated model was announced.
Today it became known that the updated Changan Eado Plus 2022 sedan will be officially launched as early as May 20.
It is reported that the manufacturer in the new car will slightly adjust the exterior, interior, as well as some equipment packages.
In terms of appearance, the new car has two exterior designs.
Both configurations received modified grille with a large neck.
The main difference between the two versions is the design of the lower part of the element.
One of the models uses a three-stage air intake, while the second received a more integrated design.
By doing so, the manufacturer gives customers a choice.
The stern of the new Eado Plus still uses an LED group of through lights with a tinted design.
The trunk protrudes slightly, forming a small decorative spoiler.
It is combined with longitudinally positioned reflectors on both sides and a double-sided exhaust layout.
This further emphasizes the dynamic qualities of the new car.
As for the interior, the sedan is still equipped with a dual screen: the fully digital dashboard is combined with the touchscreen display of the multimedia system.
The round cover in the center of the three-spoke steering wheel, behind which the airbag hides, has been replaced with a polygonal style.
In addition, the developer changed the shape and position of the locking mechanism and cupholders. Overall, the interior of the car began to look more technologically advanced.
Under the hood of the «Chinese» will still be located engines for 1.4 and 1.6 liters.
The first one is added with a turbocharger and is able to generate 161 hp of power and 260 N*m of torque.
The second engine is an atmospheric one. Its output is 128 hp and the level of traction — 161 N*m.
As the transmission the automobile normally has a 5-speed manual gearbox, which can be replaced for a fee with a stepless variator.
Cost of a Chinese novelty is not reported yet.
